I know it has been a while, but sometimes no news really is good news.
As you can see, I’ve been hard at work. Last weekend I tried to finish off all the electrical connections (I know I’ve missed some, but I can’t for the life of me work out which ones), fitted up my newly cleaned R33 front rotors, did a bit of an alignment, filled up the gearbox oil, etc. Just the bits and pieces that need to be done.
As you can see, it is starting to look a bit more complete. My intercooler piping was sent off today to the fabricator, and will be coming back soon looking a lot sexier than the horrid mild steel junk that came off the car.
The current plan is this: the car goes away to Stewart at 3P Automotive (the guy that painted it and fitted up the kit) for a check over this time next week. If all is well, we’ll fire it up there. Then it is off to Exhaust Brothers to have the new Varex fitted. If it drives properly, I’ll then drive it home and fit the interior. If not, I’ll cruise over to Stamford Tyres to get a wheel alignment done. One way or the other, It’ll be on the road soon! There is no problem that can withstand a combination of motivation and cash!
There may be some work still to be done here…
