All Japan Day: Part 2

Apologies for the lateness of this post! Between getting my car back and a couple of other things, I haven’t found the time. But good things come to those who wait. Hopefully anyway.

I think this was the only WRX at the show. I’m a big fan. The Advans were epic.

This Silvia, from Savanna Motorsports (the Australian Origin distributor) was so close to being perfect. All it needed was better fitment. Undeniably spectacular though.

To something completely different, there were a lot of great KE70s/AE71s there on the day. I’ll do a post on them later.

Silver 4 door on Grenades. What a brilliant idea that is…

This Silvia was another star, complete with CSTs and silver carbon Origin bonnet and canards. Nice colour too, don’t you think? (See, I’ve been taking writing cues from Speedhunters…)

Well, it does give you wings.

This thing was just amazing. A work in progress with a late model VVT-i 1JZ going in. Note the inventive use of garden hose.

I hate 20s on VR4s, I hate aftermarket front bumpers on VR4s and I really hate aftermarket grilles on VR4s. I should have despised this car. I didn’t.

Squid’s “Sonevia” is looking amazing at the moment. Go visit him at www.driftsquid.blogspot.com .

Why “Sonevia”, you ask? Silvia bonnet, 180SX front, Silvia rear…

This thing looked like a midget bodybuilder.

That’s enough for now. I’ll be back in the next few days with some more specific features as well as, hopefully, an update on my Silvia.
