Good solid day in the shed today. Thanks to Woodsy (and some sage advice from Neil), we were able to get this done:
Fitted up the new 5 stud hubs to the front of the car. I know it doesn’t look all that exciting, but it did allow something at least a little bit exciting…
After all the waiting (I think I’ve had these rims finished for nearly 6 months now…) I have finally been able to bolt one to the car! I know it is only a trial fit and all, but it was a pretty cool thing to be able to do.
Not the best pics, and it obviously needs to go a lot lower, but you get a bit of an idea. Looks even better in real life.
I might run a 5 or 7mm slip on once I get it on the ground to make them 9″ +4 or +2, but we’ll see how it sits before making any decisions. Suffice to say, I’m pretty excited about it!
Other news with the car is that I dropped my interior off to the trimmers on Thursday along with 3.4 metres of red Bride material… Hopefully be back in around 2 weeks. Things are moving along…
